Acololytes
His Eminence Metropolitan Apostolos Recently Tonsures Several Acolytes
Acolytes
Acolyte - the follower of a priest; a person assisting the priest in church ceremonies or services. In the early Church, the acolytes were adults; today, however, the duties are performed by children (altar boys). Numerous young men comprise the Saint Anna Greek Orthodox Church Acolytes Program.
Parents interested in enrolling their sons (fifth grade through high school), please contact Father or someone on the parish council. The Orthros begins each Sunday at 8:30 am and the Divine Liturgy follows at 9:30 am.
